I've been wanting to see MKB for a while and finally got my chance at Montgomery Performing Arts Center and he did not disappoint! The 3 people I took with me had no idea who Markus was and were blown away! He did a nice little 3 song acoustic thing about 2/3 of the way in that was impressive. His Slide guitar and keyboard player were top notch. Played for 1:55. We were all raving about MKB on the way home to Opelika! 5 STARS!
Montgomery Performing Arts Centre Montgomery, ALWhat a pleasure and a privilege to have been in the Academy last night to see this amazingly talented young man with a superb backing band. This kid has it all in bucketloads and yet has a charmingly understated demeanour. It’s like he doesn’t realise how talented he is and this just adds to his appeal. He can slip with ease from Rock to country to jazz with a dash of soul thrown in. I can’t wait until he visits Dublin again. Tom Fanthom
The Academy Dublin, IrelandOne of my favorites right now and he didn’t disappoint. Best concert i have ever went to. Marcus is one of the most talented artist I have ever seen! His voice is incredible and is playing is out of this world! Not only is Marcus King amazing but his bands is fantastic! He also came out in the freezing cold and rain and took pictures and signed for us who waited! One of the nicest people ever! Thanks for the memories!
Victory Theatre Evansville, INMarcus comped me 2 free tickets to the sold out show when I ran into him at the Rival Sons show at the Filmore. He’s a class act all the way and him and the band never disappoint. Also got to visit with Stephen after the show, awesome bass player and generous with his time! 4th time seeing them and I’m definitely a life long fan and can’t wait to see them again.
Armory Minneapolis, MNNo support act. Doors open at 7pm and he wasn’t on until 8.30. We would have gone a bit later if we’d known as there was a fair bit of standing around. He is an amazingly talented guitarist and has a beautiful voice. I loved the acoustic section the most. He worked so hard the band all had a rest in the acoustic section but he played every number.
