Montana, hailing from Orlando, FL, was founded by singer and guitarist Max Idas in the Summer of 2011. Needing a name, the project took on the title of Max’s middle name. During the duration of the next year, the project went through numerous lineup changes before solidifying its roster early in 2012. Chris Loy was recruited to play guitar and Ricky Schools joined in on drums. Rounding out the band was bassist Greg Wendel. Having been in constant construction for more than a year, Montana’s “Wake Up” is finally available to the public. From dissonantly lonely guitar lines to all out deceit-driven chaos, Montana takes “Wake Up” to eleven and then rips the knob off. “Wake Up” is available for download in digital format online and the hard copy is currently available at every Montana show.
