About Mudmen

Always entertaining and definitely unique, The Mudmen are a blast of Celtic energy whose members are known to be characters both on and off the stage. First discovered in 1993 as "the Campbell Brothers" the band signed a deal with EMI Records and changed their name to Mudmen. Their music has been featured on Xbox and PlayStation games, NBC'S television show "The Black Donnelly's", WWE Wrestling, HBO's Shameless, Don Cherry's 9,19,20,21,24,27 hockey videos, the Mackenzie Brothers TWO-FOUR special special, HNIC Coach's corner ( Dale Hunter tribute), Oil Change 3 hockey Tv series ,6 music videos on Much Music/MTV and they've reached the top 20 on the Edge radio countdown. In 2008 The Campbell Brothers were asked to perform on the new " Hockey Night In Canada " theme song produced by Canadian Rock Icon Bob Rock, which was the HNIC official theme song from 2008-2015. Their performance on the CBC HNIC lead to many opportunities including a 3 month coast to coast Sold Out tour, PBS special /DVD and a performance at the Canadian Country Music Awards with Johnny Reid. The Mudmen have appeared twice on Parliament Hill for Canada Day where they performed and shook hands with the Queen televised, performed at the Edmonton Oilers/Calgary Flames home opening ceremonies on CBC, performed at the Edmonton Oilers 84 Stanley Cup Championship win re-union with Wayne Gretzky, Sarah McLaughlin, Red Ryder and full team present. The Mudmen Robby Campbell, Sandy Campbell, Colin Amey, Emmett Glancie , Andy Gingerich & Alex Showdra believe that nice guys can finish first, while enjoying life & what you do translates to all audiences. The Mudmen are building a legion of fans from young to old with career highlights such as 12 Canada Walk of Fame Ceremonies, The Maple Leaf/Boston Bruins game at the Air Canada Center , opening performances for ZZ Top, the Guess who, The Irish Rovers, The Chieftains, April Wine , over 40 cross Canada headlining tours, festival dates in America, Europe, Canada and a performance for TSN'S "for the Love of The Game Ceremony" . This televised ceremony was for the men's & ladies Olympic hockey team where the Canadian hockey players where they've received their Gold Ring with Sidney Crosby and Full team present. With over 3000 shows to date in 8 different countries, 11 studio albums Don Cherry says they're good Canadian Boys, Johnny Reid says they're Canada's best kept secret, Walter Ostanek says he proud of them and Ron MacLean says he loves'em you should too! .
