Bursting with the band’s unmistakable melodic flair and emotional punch, “Heaven” delivers bittersweet lyrics with an enormously danceable sound, marking an exciting new creative chapter for one of Australia’s most beloved and enduring bands. “Make the sun shine brighter like Formed in 1987 as teenagers, The Mavis’s began as a four-piece post-punk rock band named after a cat. They quickly built a reputation for creativity, heartfelt songwriting, sibling harmonies and unforgettable live shows. Their first gig was in a church hall with just four songs — the start of a journey that would cement their status - first as cult favourites and then widely recognised as Australian music treasures.
