One of the most accomplished female vocalists in the British folk music scene, Maddy Prior is best known as the lead singer in the electrified folk-rock band, Steeleye Span. But she has also enjoyed a long solo career, as well as work with other artists and groups, including Tim Hart & Maddy Prior, Mac & Maddy, and Maddy Prior and the Carnival Band.
