THE NARRATOR were founded in 2017 in Essen, Germany and have since established themselves in the German metalcore scene with energetic songwriting and electrifying live performances. Following the successful release of their debut album “Lore” in September 2024, THE NARRATOR went on to play numerous shows and embarked on a huge EU/UK support tour with Annisokay. On May 8, 2026, THE NARRATOR released their second studio album “Phosphor,” once again mastered by Ted Jensen (Sterling Sound – Bring Me the Horizon, Green Day, Korn, and many more). With ten songs that respond to the global crisis with inner exhaustion, “Phosphor” shows how close hope and self- destruction are to each other. The album was met with outstanding reactions from critics and fans alike and marks the next major step in the band’s evolution. Throughout the 2026 festival summer, THE NARRATOR are bringing “Phosphor” to stages across Europe, before embarking on their biggest headline run to date: the “Phosphor Europe Tour 2026,” featuring 17 shows all across Europe.
