Alexander Gerlach steht für einen gewissen spielerischen Touch und unbeschwerte Grundhaltung, die sich durch seine Musik ziehen und mit einer gelassenen Natürlichkeit einhergehen. Ursprünglich wurde Niconé 2007 als Musik-trifft-Mode Projekt in Zusammenarbeit mit Helena Kapidzic gegründet und hat seitdem nicht nur Berlin geprägt, sondern auch andere Teile der elektronischen Landkarte. Besonders Frankreich und Italien haben ihre Ader für den Sound von Niconé entdeckt und sind daher häufig frequentierte Ziele.
