“GOOD TIME” deserved permanent ink, since the phrase is more than just an album title. It’s also a way of life for Moon, an adventurous artist, writer and musician with an enduring optimism and a flair for challenging boundaries. That attitude is apparent in the EP, a judiciously layered synthesis of his Georgia roots, pairing Atlanta-bred hip-hop and rural-fed traditional country, two genres that were considered incompatible not that long ago. When an Atlanta booking agent offered him $200 a night, and allowed him to mix his original music in with covers songs, it was a no-brainer. Moon took the gig – loved it – and fortuitously bumped into another Atlanta musician, Zac Brown, who hadn’t yet taken his band to the national level. The two began co-writing, and Moon became a regular collaborator, credited on five #1 Zac Brown Band hits: “Loving You Easy,” “Homegrown,” “Beautiful Drug” and “Keep Me In Mind”. Some of country’s prominent movers and shakers bought into Moon’s artistic story right away. Already signed to Warner/Chappell, he landed a booking deal with the Creative Artists Agency, and secured Luke Combs’ partners, Lynn Oliver-Cline and Chris Kappy, as his managers. Sony Music Nashville – his first choice for a label – signed Moon within a week of an audition in chairman/CEO Randy Goodman’s office.

Niko had great energy, great stage presence, & very personable with his crowd. Seems he truly had a good time which put the icing on the cake for us. When your entertainment is enjoying the moment & crowd, you can tell it. We will definitely be catching more of his shows. Very pleased! We also loved seeing him in a smaller venue versus a large concert.

We’ve seen him a few times already and each time we see him he has gotten even better than the last show! He rocked the house and gotten every one pumped up for Darius to close out the night!!
Riverfront Revival Charleston, SCNot sure why the site won’t accept 5 star’s because the show was 5. Niko was on fire. He had everyone singing and dancing. Small establishment and I think Niko said it was his first time in Portland. So much energy. Niko’s smile goes on and on. What a joy of an entertainer. Simply awesome and leaves you wanting more.
Wonder Ballroom Portland, ORLove us some Niko Moon. We are grateful that he has played Northern California more often than I expected. Will go every time. The Green Center is great venue and the lawn seats are reasonably priced. But I was bummed that the inside of the center looked emply. Either way he put on a great show as always!!

They didn’t let too many people in the venue like the House of Blues in Orlando did. Thank you Niko for your words, your energy and for your music that touches so many people!
