Raised On Rock Tour Dates and Upcoming Concerts

As their name suggests, Raised on Rock is exactly what the members of this new band were. This group of experienced musicians and friends have hand-picked each other to bring you the sound and atmosphere of the great arena rock acts. Raised on Rock deliver one rock anthem after the other and fans of the genre will love it, everyone else….. will love it too, as there is something for everyone in this musical maelstrom of instantly recognizable classics. The members of the band have individually played in many recognized and established bands throughout the years – Mark (lead vocals) is enjoying getting back to his roots - singing classic rock. He started singing and playing guitar at an early age and always considered rock as his inspiration. As an accomplished singer/songwriter he has toured Australia and Europe and more recently spends time each year in Nashville, song writing with various artists/writers. He has recently shared a stage with Ricky Warrick (Thin Lizzy) and Kieran Gribben (INXS). Leo (Drums) is probably one of the most versatile drummers in the local music scene today. He has proven himself to be one of the best session drummers around, having played live and recorded with numerous bands. Including Suite 2 C U, The Booze Brothers and Katmandu and has played studio sessions with many others. Steve (Bass/Backing Vocals) Has been playing in bands since he was 14 years of age, having learnt his trade in Gale Force, and he is now back to where it all started for him – playing rock music in an authentic rock band. As well as playing live, his other passion is song writing. He has had some success over the years, with the most prominent being his musical adaptation of the James Stewart classic ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’, which was chosen as one of the 5 winning musicals to be showcased in the famous Theatre Royal Drury Lane, London’s West End. Shaun (Guitars) Glasgow born Shaun Nelson is the out of towner and the latest addition to the Raised on Rock Roster. Shaun is a rock/metal specialist who brings his own fiery brand of high octane and high impact playing style to the RoЯ sound. He has played with many bands over the years most of note being Attica Rage. He also played with Belfast's power metal hell raisers Iron Heart. Fin (Guitars/Backing Vocals) Ever since Finbar heard Iron Maiden's 'Phantom of the Opera' he knew he wanted to play rock guitar. His guitar heroes include Joe Satriani, Slash and Richie Blackmore to name but a few. He gained experience playing live for over 25 years in various bands, including Risqué Blues and Shake it Sister. He is also a songwriter and has written, recorded and produced with Shake it Sister and The Daze Project. He is enjoying getting back to where it all started with his love for rock music with RoЯ. Gary ( Keyboards/Backing Vocals) Gary has played in bands for many years with his first band being The AllyKats. His technical mind and forward thinking proved to be an influence on the Northern Ireland music scene for many years, as he was the first person in Northern Ireland to start a highly sequenced 2-piece band called G'n'T, who were the forerunners of high tech 2-pieces. Whilst in G'n'T he supported Carol Decker from the 80s pop band T’Pau. He then played with Vocal Zone for 12 years, whilst running a recording studio in Lisburn and is now playing the music he loves - Classic Rock! RoЯ, have been successfully gigging in Ireland at venues and at music festivals, very well reviewed they are not just Raised on Rock they Raise the Roof a night of celebration of the best of the best of music, not to be missed.
