For over two decades, Stacy Epps has embodied what it means to be a multidimensional creative—an artist, attorney, educator, and healer whose life’s work merges music, justice, and spiritual evolution. Long told she had to choose between her passions, Epps has proven that her power lies in the integration of them all. With the 2025 release of her new nonprofit project and album, FLOWHEART, Stacy fully returns to her artistry—channeling her signature fusion of hip-hop, soul, and spiritual soundscapes into an expansive offering of healing and transformation. Each song is a frequency, a vibration of love and surrender that invites listeners to reconnect with the rhythm of life itself. More than an album, FLOWHEART is a nonprofit initiative dedicated to raising funds to purchase land and create an artist healing community—a sanctuary designed to nurture creativity, wellness, and connection. The project expands beyond music into the FLOWHEART book, guided meditations, and community experiences, forming a multidimensional healing modality centered on love, heart connection, and creative flow. Through FLOWHEART, Epps bridges her artistry and her mission, using music as a force for restoration, unity, and tangible change. Born into a military family and raised across 14 cities before claiming Hampton, VA as home, Epps developed a deep adaptability and global awareness that continue to shape her art and mission. Now based in Atlanta, GA, she bridges worlds between spirituality and law, music and activism, creativity and service. Epps first captivated international audiences with her ethereal performance on Madvillainy, the classic collaboration between MF DOOM and Madlib, appearing on the track “Eye.” That defining moment introduced her to a global fan base that has followed her through her independent releases—The Awakening, Ruff Draft, and Aura—and performances across the U.S., Europe, South Africa, and Japan. Her celestial yet grounded sound has led to collaborations with Diamond D, Oh No, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Jneiro Jarel, and others, solidifying her as a distinctive voice in conscious hip-hop and soul. Beyond her artistry, Stacy built a thriving legal career devoted to artist empowerment and legacy protection, representing creative icons such as MF DOOM, Madlib, Talib Kweli, and Westside Gunn. Her unique dual path as attorney and artist has positioned her as a trusted guide for creatives navigating both the spiritual and structural aspects of their careers. In 2020, she founded LOVELIKEWATER, a nonprofit blending art, healing, and humanitarian service. The organization hosts transformative creative retreats and water projects, delivering over 12,000 gallons of clean water through partnerships with artists like David Banner, Big K.R.I.T., Kaytranada, Just Blaze, and Madlib. In response to the 2025 Altadena, California wildfires, Epps launched MADLOVE, a benefit movement created to support Madlib after he lost everything in the fires. What began as an act of compassion blossomed into a community-wide expression of love and resilience, raising funds not only for Madlib but also for Rhythms of the Village and The Village Play Garden, two community-driven programs supporting youth, education, and cultural continuity. Today, through FLOWHEART, LOVELIKEWATER, and MADLOVE, Stacy Epps continues her mission to awaken hearts and empower artists worldwide—reminding us that creativity, love, and service are all expressions of the same divine flow.
