"Multi-national. Poly-cultural. And many faceted, Shush are a bright spark from the fires of what is best termed alternative pop-rock. They've got the sort of breezy, breathy sense of melody that enriches the sounds of bands from the Foo Fighters to Horror Pops and McQueen. They've also got a tightly wound sense of musicianship, one that might nod towards modern punk, but isn't afraid to stretch out and give room for vital creativity. Add in a storming, streewise energy, and you have a band with a lot of potential, and the focus to realise thier ambitions. It's the sort of style that would have everyone purring if they were American. Well, they're on our doorstep, so why don't we praise some homegrown class for once?" MALCOLM DOME- TOTAL ROCK RADIO "Shush’s debut EP is a revelation. Shush mean business, and this record is their statement of intent." BRETT CALLWOOD - Classic Rock / Bizarre Rhythm / Total Guitar / Guitarist Acoustic / Bass Guitar / Record Collector "It’s hard to find a description that does Shush justice. It’s maybe Blondie coming down off their art school high horse, getting trashed and starting a fight with some real rockers in Soho at 3am. Or perhaps The Foo Fighters getting really high and deciding that, actually, their favourite band in the world ever is Girlschool. Something like that anyway, you’ll have to see them for yourselves and decide." SEXY DAVE - PURE RAWK "Milena Yum posseses the kind of gorgeous voice that should really be let out more often - melody rich, sweet and harmony-laden perfect guitar pop" BUBBLEGUM SLUT "Shush have delivered an EP full of open ended promises, big licks, big ideas, and a glimpse through the looking glass that shows that they are ready to quietly go the distance, and might just be able to bring themselves to make enough noise to get there." MIKE ELLIOT - KOMODO ROCK Shush is a 4 headed, 8 eyed, 32 fingered rock'n'roll monster featuring Milena Yum on vox, Andy Brook on guitar, Dean Croney on bass and Simon Gonk on drums
