The show ruled. Story of the Year’s computers and earpieces and monitors stopped working. They killed time for about 7 minutes before starting to just play by ear. Real rock music. You could tell Dan was super concerned about putting on a great show and worried they didn’t sound as good. I’m here to say that even without the earpieces and computers they sounded excellent and it was super impressive!!! Awesome show! Come back soon!
Buffalo RiverWorks Buffalo, NYBrought my 14 year old son to his first concert ever for this show and it did NOT disappoint!!! The opening bands were amazing, and these guys blew off the roof! There was a good size mosh pit and my son even got to crowd surf. He sang every word at the top of his lungs. The energy was so amazing! Best show we've gone to in awhile.
The Rockwell Salt Lake City, UTGreat show from SOTY. Sounded close to album quality. The guitars on FYS were way too muddy and the vocals made it hard to even hear which song they were playing. Youth fountain was good but the mix was so loud you couldn’t actually hear any of the music. Bummer that the opening acts didn’t get god sound engineering for the venue to be depicted well.
McMenamins Crystal Ballroom Portland, ORThe band was amazing. The music was great. The Paper Tiger was great. The some of the people at the show were terrible. Towards the end of the show tall, fat couples started pushing their way to the stage trampling (shorter) concert-goers that had been near the front of the stage the whole night. Fat, dumb, idiot couples.
Paper Tiger San Antonio, TXBest show with the best band. It rained but what is rain to a Floridian? My first time seeing my favorite band, it blew my mind hearing them open with And the Hero Will Drown as it was the first song of their’s that I heard all those years ago as a high schooler when I picked up Need for Speed Underground.
