Com 15 anos de trajetória, o Síntese se firmou como uma das vozes mais autênticas do rap brasileiro. O duo de São José dos Campos estreou com o clássico álbum duplo Sem Cortesia (2012), obra espiritual e atemporal que marcou uma geração. Após o lançamento, Leonardo Irian foi diagnosticado com esquizofrenia e se afastou do projeto, enquanto Neto seguiu à frente do Síntese. Vieram colaborações importantes, como com Projetonave e Criolo (Plano de Vôo), e o álbum Amem (2016), produzido por Daniel Ganjaman, que levou a mensagem do grupo a novos públicos. Em 2019, Neto e Léo se reencontram e criam Ambrosia (2020), marcando o retorno de Irian às aos estúdios. Em 2024, sua partida precoce causou grande comoção na cena. O single Giramundo 2 foi lançado ainda em vida, seguido por Luzes, registro audiovisual de despedida e prenúncio do novo álbum Flor de Maio (2025), marcando a nova era do Síntese.
