Sparks the Rescue Tour Dates and Upcoming Concerts

A fresh sound coming from a group of guys with an average age of 19, a sound described as Screamo, Post Industrial Hardcore and just plain Rock and Roll. Portland, Maine, USA's Sparks the Rescue. Formed in 1999 under the title PoZer with the lineup being Toby, Nate and Ben the band played more than 200 shows throughout High School. Before High School was over though, they had added Marty on synth and Patrick on guitar/vocals and soon after Alex on lead vocals. Patrick had played in the local band Short of April and Alex had played with multiple local bands before joining forces with the other guys. With a new band, and a new sound, they changed the band name to Sparks The Rescue. After having good success locally they began playing throughout New England. The Internet has played an important role in the bands success just as most up and coming acts. After self-producing a CD in the spring of 2005 they supported it by booking a two week tour in the summer of 2005 via the Internet from Maine to New Jersey and back playing a different show every night. Sparks The Rescue is one of the hardest working bands in New England. They stay focused, constantly writing new material, experimenting with new ideas and coming up with the best music they possibly can...music being the most important thing in each members life. This is what they want to do more than anything else. With the new music they recorded with Jonathan Wyman in November 2005, they are constantly showing up in Pure Volumes top 10 Unsigned Artists. They have tremendous stage presence with a crazy, entrancing, and electrifying live show that will never let you down. Their focus hasn't changed and they remain with the same ambitions they had when they first met. They want to take their band as far as it will go, making each member of this bands hard work worthwhile...
