Solar Fields Tour Dates and Upcoming Concerts

Solar Fields is the project of Swedish composer and sound designer Magnus Birgersson, known for his immersive blend of ambient, downtempo, and cinematic electronic music. Based in Gothenburg, he began releasing music in the late '90s, gaining global recognition for his lush soundscapes and emotional depth. A classically trained pianist and seasoned multi-instrumentalist, Birgersson combines analog synths, digital tools, and acoustic elements at his Studio Jupiter to craft richly textured works. With over 20 solo albums, his catalog includes fan favorites like Movements, Until We Meet the Sky, and Formations, a 2022 release exploring bold, rhythmic territory. He also composed the acclaimed soundtracks for Mirror's Edge and Mirror's Edge Catalyst, praised for their emotional tone and seamless integration with gameplay. Beyond his solo work, Solar Fields co-founded T.S.R. with members of Carbon Based Lifeforms, blending ambient and psychedelic influences across three albums. He also collaborates in Lucid Haze with Krister Linder and in H.U.V.A. Network with AES Dana. His work with Stevie Nicks (The Lighthouse) and CHVRCHES (Morning Call) shows his stylistic range. Releasing through his label Droneform Records since 2014, Birgersson continues to expand his sound, with a new album currently in the works.
