Sentimiento Muerto fue una banda de rock venezolana. Compuesta originalmente por Pablo Dagnino (voz líder, compsitor y autor), Alberto Cabello (batería, compositor y autor), Carlos Eduardo "Cayayo" Troconis (guitarra, compositor y autor), Edgar Jiménez (guitarra y compositor) y Wincho Schaeffer (bajo y compositor). Alberto Cabello y Wincho Schafer fueron sustituidos por Sebastián Araujo y Héctor Castillo respectivamente. Sentimiento Muerto es quiza la banda mas emblematica del rock de Venezuela. Nacieron en 1981 y se disolvieron en el año 1992. Representaron una ruptura de la linea de rocanrol de su país. Abrieron el camino a una nueva generación del rock actualizada con los acontecimientos y estilos del momento. Inspiraron a varias generaciones de musicos. Hasta el día de hoy, no hay banda de rock de venezuela que hayan podido superar los logros en ventas de entradas, ventas de discos e impacto cultural como lo hizo Sentimiento Muerto.
