Sally Rose is a country-queer songsmith and activist that chooses joy as an act of resistance. Their upcoming album Feral is a musical work of art born into an era of personal and political grief. It is as aggressive as it is playful and as heavy as it is tender. One-third of psych-rock band Shagwüf, Sally Rose shows off their musical flexibility in Feral. Produced and co-written by Jake Cochran (Illiterate Light), this collaboration lit Sally Rose ablaze to create something radically unbridled. Feral features striking cast Palmyra, Wes Parker and Illiterate Light, rooting them deep in the lore of the evolving Central Virginia music scene. A voice of connection in the face of division, Sally Rose’s Feral is a force of nature.
