About Trapt
Trapt is an American rock band that formed in Los Gatos, California, in 1997, best known for its chart-topping 2002 single "Headstrong".[1] The group consists of lead vocalist Chris Taylor Brown, bassist Peter "Pete" Charell, guitarist Shawn Sonnenshein and drummer Mitch Moore. They have released 8 studio albums to date: Amalgamation (1999), Trapt (2002), Someone in Control (2005), Only Through the Pain (2008), No Apologies (2010), Reborn (2013), and DNA (2016) and Shadow Work (2020) their newest album "The Fall" drops end of 2023!

Best show ever!!!! Trapt didn’t miss a beat. All acoustic. Excellent singing. Excellent guitar and bass. Excellent drum box. These guys went above and beyond with meet and greet, and signed merch. It was a very small, personal venue. I’ll pay to see them every time. Absolutely love their true talent. Thank you again for the best show. I had the best time!

Trapt was amazing, and Smile Empty Soul, not to shabby. There were to other opening bands, Deep Sleep, an alternative 2 piece outfit from somewhere in Europe, I think; and Core, a 4 piece hard rock quartet from South Dakota; both of which were serviceable. Southport Hall is a great music venue with good acoustics, providing a nice, up close, and personable experience.

I was in the front and got a drum stick from the first band. Trapt was great. After the show I got a set list and went to the merch table. A few min later Chris and the bassist were there. They took pictures and signed my stuff. It was awesome! I'll be seeing them again

There were three bands before Trapt. They were good but Trapt didn't even get on stage until 10:45. Seemed like a little bit of a rushed set. Music by CBT and Brendan from Trapt was awesome as usual! Hope to see them live and plugged in for a full set in the future.

Chris and the band were outstanding. Rare that a band sound and performance sounds just like the record “live”. VIP experience was direct access and intimate. Trapt is the real deal and Chris’ vocals and stage presence is become a dying breed. A must see live band!!! Great experience!!!
