"South Dakota" is a finalist in the Chris Austin Songwriting Contest at Merlefest (2020). The Current on MPR was the first to play "South Dakota!" It was also featured on South Dakota Public Radio! https://listen.sdpb.org/post/new-single-called-south-dakota VNYL.org made GO WITH THE FLOW Vibe of the month! "Go With the Flow" was recorded in Dalton, MA at the Stationery Factory with Johnny Irion (Producer) on a Studer Tape Machine owned by Jackson Browne. Brad and Johnny formed a spirited collaboration that included Johnny on Background Vocals, Electric Guitar, Keys, and drummer Brian Kantor (Fruit Bats, Vetiver) with Wes Buckley on Bass, and Rory Verbrugge on pedal steel.  “Go With the Flow” is the 5th full-length album by singer-songwriter Brad Lauretti. This new collection of songs was written mostly in Nashville, TN, and in various cities across Europe. After his last album “Real Job” was released Brad toured across Europe and Canada by himself, moved to Nashville, and finished writing the songs for this album from a beautiful balcony in Barcelona.    This Frontier Needs Heroes is the moniker of singer-songwriter Brad Lauretti, who in various forms and lineup changes, has spent the past 10 years playing shows all over the world. One night with Brad will run the gamut of all human emotions from humor, hedonism, activism to heartbreaking sadness. From Folk-Rock anthems to indie folk, flares of psychedelic, alt-country, to straight-up storytelling you get it all in one song. Influenced by songwriters like John Prine, Billy Bragg, Kris Kristofferson, and Townes Van Zandt his timeless songs mix love, humor, and protest seamlessly to get you through the tough times. Originally from Brooklyn, NY Brad has traveled around a lot including stints in Nashville and now Miami, FL. He has performed at Woody Guthrie Folk Festival, Folk Alliance International, Nordic Folk Alliance, Live at Heart (Sweden), Magnolia Festival, Hickey Fest, Gamble Rogers Folk Festival, Gram Parsons Guitar Pull, End of the Road (UK), Reeperbahn, Incubate, Athfest, Sing Out Loud, Savannah Stopover, and is the winner of the Artsville Songwriting Contest. He is also the founder of the Stetson Kennedy Songwriter Residency. He has supported Kath Bloom, Tallest Man on Earth, Handsome Family, Gruff Rhys, Daniel Romano, Cate Le Bon, David Dondero, Dar Williams, Chatham County Line, Scott H. Biram, She Keeps Bees and The Blank Tapes.
