Great show! It was hot & sticky, but Sam was in top form & had lots of stories to tell between songs. About Andy Warhol (a Pittsburgher) & even Dr. Oz (dude from New Jersey running for Senator in PA). He came back & played with Andrew Bird & the band, then just him & Bird played together. Great crowd! Went alone, but met some new friends.

Amazing show The Best Iron & Wine performance I have ever seen. The ONLY negative was the woman sitting directly in front of us who must have spilled an entire bottle of awful sickening perfume all over herself. I literally tasted it and was hard to endure. So rude ... and we had great front center tickets 3 rows back from the stage

Great show, but far too short! I guess one of T he downsides of having such a great catalog of music is the inability to play everything the fans want at every show. The show could have been a bit longer so that a few more tunes could be played, but what WAS played was truly Back to Basics. GREAT STUFF!

Okay so same situation with Damien Rice, this is the first concert I remember. Unlike Damien Rice, I was obsessed with Iron & Wine. I was vibing to "Naked As We Came" when I was 12. My parents were very confused why everyone knew the song "Flightless Bird, American Mouth," but it was because of the Twilight: Breaking Dawn, Pt. 1 soundtrack lol.

Sam Beam is a modern day Walt Whitman with musical genius! This tour included reinterpretations of some of his hits and robust new originals. The accompanying musicians and shadow puppet artists were top notch and added a unique lens to Iron and Wine’s range. It was an extremely well choreographed show that provided a fresh take on this deep artist.

Loved t Sam and his band, the art projections( although we could only see 1/4 of them from far left of stage ADA section) the lamps set throughoutcreated a hushed church like mood.We were treated well as the respectfully joyful congregation. His voice is la soothing breeze singing poetry..Rosali and her band were entertaining as well and inventive.

Amazing show! Old stuff and new stuff. The full band was fantastic. And on top of his sweet poetic vocals, see this tour for the super cool shadow art performed live to the songs by two talented artists using overhead projectors. My boyfriend and I were almost brought to tears. Such a great night.

This should say 5 stars! Damn app. He gave us a truly great show. His band was talented and the instrumentation was a compliment, never dominant. Except I adored the drummer/percussionist. He was dryly funny and he loved that we were so thrilled to see him—mutual appreciation.

What a special treat to be able to see a movie, have a question and answer session with Sam Beam, and hear him play a few songs just for us. He is so inspirational! Thank you to the Texas theater for having this great event

Excellent. If you like that type of music, it really doesn't get any better. Of course, sitting outside on a grassy hill watching them and watching the sun go down with a sweet tea vodka in hand would be tops but this was still great
