About Unni Wilhelmsen
Unni Elisabeth Wilhelmsen (b.1971) is one of the most acclaimed singer-songwriters in Norway. She debuted in 1996 with To Whom It May Concern, which won her two Norwegian grammys - best album and best female artist - and featured her biggest hit to date, Won't Go Near You Again. Since then she has released four albums, with Definitely Me (1997) was her biggest seller at over 35,000 units and featured the #1 radio hit, Anything 'bout June. If you like artists like Shawn Colvin and Joni Mitchell, she's worth checking out.
Her latest album, Til Meg, was released in October 2006 on her own label and was her first to be sung in Norwegian.
