Velours Velours (Raphaël Pépin-Tanguay) roule sa bosse depuis 2020. Après avoir évolué sur scène aux côtés d'Étienne Coppée, il lance Fauve, un premier EP coréalisé avec Philippe Brach en 2022. Sa pop décomplexée et brûlante de jeunesse sert autant de trame sonore aux errances montréalaises qu’aux road trips gaspésiens. Couronné du Prix de la fondation Socan en 2022, élu « artiste à surveiller » par Radio-Canada en 2023 et nommé dans la catégorie Révélation de l’année à l’Adisq en 2025, Velours Velours fait des remous partout où il trimballe sa musique. Après un sublime premier album, Quand je pleure, je suis content (2025) et un concert ininterrompu de 24h la même année, la formule solo de son spectacle se retrouvera sur disque à l’automne 2026. En attendant, retrouvez l’artiste sur les scènes du Québec et de l’Europe, seul ou avec sa formation.
