Zyah Belle is a vibrant force in the music scene, an electrifying powerhouse of talent, a seamless blend of singer, songwriter, DJ, and music arranger. Hailing from Vallejo, California, her musical roots began in church, where her mother served as choir director, while her older sisters inspired her passion for R&B. Surrounded by a village of powerful women, Zyah cultivated an unapologetic confidence and a deep love for music that would create the blueprint for her artistic journey. Collaborations with music legends Terrace Martin, Snoop Dogg, and Too $hort, as well as contributing vocals to Kanye West's Sunday Service Choir and their Grammy-winning, Billboard-charting project, Jesus Is King round out Zyah’s impressive portfolio. Her well-received 2022 debut LP, Yam Grier is a bold statement of self-empowerment with a fresh take on ’90s neo-soul. Are You Still Listening?, Zyah’s powerful new EP released in August 2025, has gained critical acclaim. Her single, “LYIN,” a raw heartbreak diss track, sparked music icon Rihanna to urge Zyah to “drop this if you haven’t yet!” so she could “put on da repeat squad.” VIBE described the track “Automatic” as “utterly captivating and passionate,” and People proclaimed Zyah’s music to be a “multi-sensory experience.” Zyah has blessed Femme it Forward, SXSW, and platforms like On the Radar with her lush vocals and fearless performance steeped in the spirit of her choir background.
