Amorphis is a Finnish metal band founded in 1990. Initially, the band was a death metal act, but on later albums they evolved into playing other genres, including progressive metal with folk music influences. They frequently use the Kalevala, the epic poem of Finland, as a source for their lyrics. Band members are: Esa Holopainen, Tomi Joutsen, Santeri Kallio, Tomi Koivusaari, Olli-Pekka Laine and Jan Rechberger. Fourteenth Amorphis album, "Halo", is out on February 11th, 2022 via Atomic Fire Records.

Such a great show! I showed up late but just in time for the last few songs of Dark Tranquility. Amorphis was amazing. A guy dressed as a bee got up on stage during the song “The Bee” and sung along and then got kicked out. Awesome stuff
Echoplex Los Angeles, CAI've waited 25 years to see Amorphis and boy was it worth it! They nailed it last night. Only downside is they played virtually the whole new album, but that's not really a bad thing as queen of time is a masterpiece. What a fantastic night 🤘🤘🤘
