About Blood Red Throne

Kings of Norwegian death metal, Blood Red Throne, celebrates 21 years in the scene with their latest release «FIT TO KILL». Album was released on Danish label Mighty Music on September 13th, 2019, to outstanding reviews world wide. The band was formed in Kristiansand, Norway, during the peak of Black Metal back in 1998 by former Satyricon guitarist Daniel «Død» Olaisen and Emperor guitarist Terje «Tchort» Schei. Inspired by bands like Death, Cannibal Corpse and Deicide, Blood Red Throne does a Scandinavian twist on the genre, mixing old school, traditional & swedish death with ultra groovy riffs and elements of black metal. Blood Red Throne is well known to be a fantastic live band. Trully aggressive and sincere in their crazy, tight and brutal shows. The band has released 9 albums, and though neglected/underated in the big metal scene, 2020 may be the year of breakthrough after a busy year of spreading the gospel of death. The band is: Daniel «Død» Olaisen - Lead Guitar Ivan «Meathook» Gujic - Guitae Freddy Bolsø - Drums Stian Gundersen - Bass Yngve "Bolt" Christiansen - Vocals
