Cartographer is an alternative metal band from Los Angeles. New Single + music video “What I Am” is out now! They are currently writing their second and third EP, playing regional shows, and planning future tours. The band is independent and completely self produced, writing and recording from a shared studio in North Hollywood. Skies Marie is the primary lyricist, guitarist Nick Morzov produces and mixes everything. Drummer Groove Juggernaut and guitarist Travis Fodor assist with engineering, sound design, and lyrical concepts. Cartographer is a true collective, sharing everything and taking care of each other as they passionately pursue a dream—to be the best band in the world. Their unique sound, queer identity and emo aesthetic is re-shaping the genre and ushering a new era of heavy music. Modern metal is for everyone.
