MIW are amazing and overall I thoroughly enjoyed it. I don't know about everyone else, but I thought the dancers were unnecessary and a bit tacky. The band have a strong enough stage presence and don't need that. It doesn't add anything, it just distracts from what we all really want to see. The white flashing lights were also way to strong and partially blinded me, so I couldn't see very well. The venue was way too packed and felt claustrophobic. There should be more space at the back. The staff were lovely and did their very best to make sure everyone was ok and to accommodate any extra needs. When my sister needed a seat, as he back was hurting, they found one for her. Overall it was great.
O2 Academy Birmingham Birmingham, United KingdomWe had VIP with Motionless In White and From Ashes to New! Highly recommended! So much fun! Especially FATN, they are a hoot! All the staff was super helpful at getting us where we needed to be for both VIP events, the venue staff and the tour staff. MIW’s tour manager brought everyone on line bottled water because it was so hot waiting in the sun, but they made sure we got to shade when possible and were well taken care of. The concert itself was PHENOMENAL!!! All 4 bands were fantastic! This was my first time experiencing Fit for a King, but I’m definitely a fan now! We had a blast, as always everyone at the Ozarks Amphitheater was great!
Ozarks Amphitheater Camdenton, MOMIW was great as a band as usual, but there were some issues they had to overcome. Understandably they were without their bass player due to his wife going into labor (congratulations!) and some serious mic issues for Chris. But they overcame and persevered and gave 110% to all fans in attendance, just like every other time I have seen them. The venue was horrible, from a planning perspective, one Merchandise table, with a two hour wait and low inventory on many items once you got up there, parking was a crap shoot and getting out was a nightmare, none of which was the bands fault, but still hampered the evening. The bands were great, and played their asses off, as usual!
UPMC Events Center Moon, PAShow was great. MIW was fantastic, of course! Didn't really care for the addition of the Cherry Bombs, though. Was a little odd and didn't seem to me like they "belonged", if that makes any sense. Loved that the majority of seats at this venue were mostly covered/sheltered - I would have miserable standing in the sun all day. One small complaint - there were QR codes for merch taped on the walls and on the backs of some seats, and everytime I tried to take a picture of the stage with my phone, my camera would detect the QR code and automatically take me to the merch link instead of just letting me take a picture. Was REALLY irritated by that! 🤷♀️
The Pavilion at Montage Mountain Scranton, PAAmazing as always!!! My daughter and I have been seeing the guys since 2015 when I took her for her 15 th birthday to Memphis, TN. This was a small venue and we had a great time. Needless to say, I was hooked!!! From long distance driving to see them in Birmingham to Warped Tour, to Graceland and Nashville we catch them whenever we can. We bought the gold VIP at Graceland and I’m the one that fan-girled!!! Me at 54!! I did!! Geez!! Lol. But we love the guys and can’t wait till they get back from Europe, hurry back guys, as you are our only mother/daughter outing!!!!
