There are five artists with the name Corpus. 1. An American rock blues combo hailing from Corpus Christi, a little town in Texas. Their only album Creation A Child originally released on Acorn Records in 1970. The two guitar players, William Grate and Richard De Leon, plays clean and inventive solos, which pay tribute to the best American psychedelic rock. 2. Corpus is an unsigned four-piece hard rock band from Spearfish, South Dakota. They have been compared to Seether, Chevelle and Three Days Grace. The band is well known in the Midwest USA. They have played bars and clubs in that area for four years, gathering positive reviews, and local and satellite radio airplay. They recently played the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, sharing the main stage with bands such as Saliva, Crossfade, and Drowning Pool. Their first album is available on iTunes, and the band is in the studio now recording a new album. Corpus is the new name of the reformed gothic rock band Corpus Delicti, which broke up again in the late 90s. 4. Latvian hard rock band founded by guitarist Ēriks Ķiģelis after leaving Līvi in 1978. Band is playing songs composed by Ķiģelis, IGO and also Imats Kalniņš. In 1980, he, vocalist IGO and keyboardist Vilnis Krieviņš reunions with Līvi, and practically new band is formed under name Corpus, featuring guitarist Ainars Virga, who will replace Ķiģelis in Līvi after his death in 1985. That was also the end of Corpus. 5. coRPus is a Belgian band consisting out of the following members: Benno - Voice & Bass Steve - Drums, Percussion & Voice Tobias - Keyboards Wouter - Guitars Their debut album 'The Rise' was released December 4, 2008.
