About The Amity Affliction
The Amity Affliction have claimed their fourth consecutive #1 ARIA chart debut this week with their new album MISERY (on Roadrunner Records). The album also remained at #1 on iTunes album chart for the entire first week of release. They join a handful of Australian artists to accomplish four consecutive #1 ARIA album debuts along with Silverchair, Hilltop Hoods and Powderfinger. Previous #1 albums for The Amity Affliction are Chasing Ghosts (2012), Let The Ocean Take Me (2014) and This Could Be Heartbreak (2016).

This one hurt :( Their set got cut in half by a medical emergency mid show - it was shut down for 20-30 mins, but at least they came back out to play one more instead of just giving up and leaving! I will ALWAYS go see TAA when they're in the states - they are great live! Them + PWD was a bucket list show for me. Honorable mention for Northlane & Make Them Suffer - they kicked ass too.

The venue has always been discusting dirty floors haven't been cleaned since who knows when like you were stuck to them staff more stupid than ever I only go there for concerts never for a club night they seem to prey on the fact that they are a big venue so the can get bands to play there the metropolis Fremantle show the next night was better venue clean great staff better vibe . The bands were all amazing 🖤

It was an amazing night, the size of club was perfect all the staff were friendly and helpful the drinks were so good. Omerta and can't swim were really good bands and perfect for opening up for Amity. Amity was amazing the energy from them and the crowd was insane, I couldn't hear after the show and my voice was gone 🤘 I will be seeing them again and coming back to the king of clubs for sure!

A TRULY EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE BY THE AMITY AFFLICTION OF LET THE OCEAN TAKE ME ALBUM. THEY NAILED IT. ALSO A TOP NOTCH GIG BY WE CAME AS ROMANS AND A BIG MENTION FOR THE KILLER SET BY ICE NINE KILLS, IT WAS MY FIRST TIME SEEING THEM LIVE AND I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THEM AGAIN. THEY WERE BADASS. BUT THE MAIN ACT WAS TAA AND THEY WERE AWESOME AND RATED A TH1RT3EN OUT OF TEN.

Saw them at the beginning of the year at the Hawthorne they put on a good show then but this one was by far so much better. Everything was better! The vocals were on point! Just like if I was listening at home! And they absolutely rocked so hard! If they keep coming to Portland I’ll keep seeing them! 🤘🏼

It was awesome meeting The Amity Affliction and seeing them for the first time. They saved my life more than once since 2014 and it was life changing seeing my favorite band of all time. Tha k you guys for the performance, it was so good I can't think of a word that can justify just how great it was!!

TAA never fail to impress. Unreal live band. And Alphawolf brought even more energy than the headliners. Special shout out to both Run and Terminal Sleep. Didn’t know them before seeing them live but have since added them to my rotation. And props to the team at JCU UniBar for looking after all patrons in the North Queensland heat.

One of their best shows I’ve been to yet I’ve been coming to them since they first started playing salt lake and one thing about a amity concert you will never find a more physically emotionally in tune group of fans with a band than at one of there shows it’s a one of a kind experience

Wonderful tour, I've been waiting a decade to see TAA. I'm beyond excited that I didn't have to travel a half workday away to be able to see them. I think it was wonderful, but the one downside was that the smoke machines were waaaay too heavy to be able to see the performers clearly! 😅

They are sooo good live! A recording can’t capture the awesomeness of Ahren’s voice & Joel sounds better than ever, clearly he’s worked on his sound. There’s so much emotion in the room it almost became too much at 1 point (maybe bc I’m sensitive to that kind of thing) but it was really amazing!!
