About Beartooth
Caleb Shomo showed us the Sick Disgusting Aggressive Disease Below The Surface. In painful, lonesome catharsis and with reckless determination, the frontman and multi-instrumentalist forged Beartooth into a weapon. Pain blasted out as anthems as he ripped himself open, a raw nerve exposed. Beartooth is now one of the most important, vibrant, and visceral acts in modern rock. In 2026, roughly ten years after the gold “Hated” and platinum “In Between,” Caleb is finally… Free. The opening salvo from Beartooth’s new partnership with Fearless Records is a seismic-sized single. Inviting, melodic, powerful, loud, and crushing in equal measure, “Free” ignites a brand-new season. Beartooth began in Caleb’s Ohio basement in 2013. He self-produced and played all the instruments on an arsenal of angry yet melodic songs filled with reflection and confession. Beartooth remains his message in a bottle, hurled into a hungry sea from an island of depression, repression, and confusion. Shomo’s unapologetic insistence on growth, no matter how daunting or dangerous, is a creative musical and emotional salve for a legion of listeners, one that shimmers, shines, and shakes as it heals. The discography, through 2023’s The Surface (which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative and Hard Music charts and No. 2 on the Album Sales, Rock Albums, and Vinyl Albums charts), wove together a bombastic narrative. “Might Love Myself” shot to No. 1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Airplay and Mediabase charts. “I Was Alive” was the No. 6th most played song on Rock Radio in 2024, and Beartooth was among the Top 10 most played artists. Beartooth in 2026 is an even mightier animal. Rolling Stone hailed Beartooth as one of 10 Artists You Need to Know. These songs are both bomb and balm, a refusal to suffer in silence, and a declaration for all who struggle with self-acceptance. Forbes wrote that the band is “inching towards a tipping point of becoming the latest arena headliner.” Tantalizing, suggestive, and unashamed, “Free” is the sound of a luminous artist clawing through to the other side. The nerve remains exposed, but the decay is fading, making way for a sharper ‘Tooth.

We drove from Western Oklahoma to the show because it was the only one that hadn’t already sold out. The venue was amazing. The sound was phenomenal. We didn’t buy any merch because the line was super long. We got in it as soon as sleep theory finished, missed all of Invent Animate and the first two songs from The Plot in You before we just gave up. We still weren’t even close to the merch tables. Beartooth was 🔥. It was my first time seeing them and I was not disappointed.

Beartooth have got no way to go but up! We go to a lot of concerts and this by far was one of the best we have seen in 2018. High energy, great songs. I came out of this show feeling completely satisfied! It was everything I hope for and more working up to the show, not to mention leading up to the new album! We are huge fans! Caleb and the band are musical geniuses! We can’t wait until the next show! Keep it up guys!

Great show!! Very high energy, very crowded and sweaty and extremely hot (it was a sold out show) but it was worth all of the sweat and crowding because Beartooth absolutely killed it, tore it up, and buried it. Best show I've been to so far at this venue, one of my favorite shows of all time by far!! Would see them again in a hearbeat if the opportunity arises!! Caleb Shomo is a showman and a true rockstar in my book!!

it was an awesome show don’t get me wrong! i got into and found so many new bands!! just the crowd control was awful and i had a panic attack because general admission was so far over capacity and overbooked that i had to get out and get water or i would’ve been seriously injured. nonetheless however, i met the band prior to the show and they were some of the KINDEST people ive ever met. they the set was awesome!

This band is the best! The energy you feel when they come on stage on is unreal. The crowd starts moving and we all become 1 big mosh pit family. I know this is how most small venue shows are. But this band is on top of their game right now! Nothing can compare to being up front to experience great music! This show was an absolute amazing time and I can not wait to see this band again!

Incredible. These guys bring the energy. Was planning on just kinda sitting back in the crowd and enjoying the music on a Sunday before a work day, but the whole energy of the band and the crowd drew me in. First time in a mosh pit since pre-COVID and it felt liberating. The Last Riff outro/encore was a blast. Would love to hear more artists end their sets on killer instrumental only songs.

Venue is great. Fantastic service, fair priced drinks for a concert and even though sold out, was not cramped feeling. The staff was great, security worked their butts off catching surfers and the front of the house crew passed out water in between sets. Great experience overall. Beartooh as usual, was off the charts. One of the best bands you'll ever see live, hands down across all genres.

I always enjoy attending a concert at the Municipal Auditorium. It's old, but it's maintained well and just feels like you're getting to experience history being made. Beartooth put on an excellent show! The energy was electric, the stage presence was larger than life, taking the time to interact with the crowd was amazing, and the live vocals were insane. Loved every second of the show!
