Finding and developing his voice in church helped David gain the confidence and skill that he needed to devote himself to honing his gift of music. After prestigious Berklee College of Music, David soon found himself sharing the stage with well-known R&B acts like Legendary Stevie Wonder, Kelly Price, Dave Hollister, Eric Roberson, Lalah Hathaway, Ledesi, and so many others! Never forgetting his Gospel roots, David has been honored to share the stage with Multi-Grammy Award Winner Israel Houghton, Multi-Dove and Stellar Award Winner Brian Courtney Wilson, Erica Campbell, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, gospel superstar Yolanda Adams, as well as Season 7 Sunday Best Winner Geoffrey Golden. David also showcased his gift to the world on Season Six of BET's Sunday Best gospel talent television show. Over the last few years, David has garnered quite a diverse fan base, joining rapper Tobe Nwigwe and becoming known as “The Velvet Voice”. While David has been featured on several of Tobe’s songs, most recently David released his own reprise versions of a few Tobe tunes. These songs combine his jaw-dropping vocal skills, smooth falsetto tone, and soulful rhythm. “The Reprise” is available on Apple Music and anywhere that music is sold.
