David Phelps is credited among today’s most spectacular voices. His seemingly endless vocal range, which extends more than three octaves, coupled with his gift for communicating a song, has brought the house down in the world’s most prestigious venues. He has received numerous Dove Awards, Grammy Awards, and multiple platinum-selling recording projects. David has topped the Billboard charts time and time again with releases like: the 2017 live DVD The Best Of David Phelps (#1 topping such popular video releases as The Beatles’ Eight Days A Week) and the 2018 live DVD It Must Be Christmas (#2), amongst others. The various recordings have been featured on numerous television networks, including the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) and have received acclaim in both secular and gospel music genres. Phelps says of his work, “I am and always have been a stylist, and that makes my music and career very eclectic.” While studying vocal performance at Baylor University, David met Lori, who has been his wife and a constant source of support throughout his career spanning three decades. Together, they have four children and reside on their farm outside Nashville, Tennessee.

David was so good!! He was amazing!! It's one of those things you don't want to end. His voice just goes above and beyond all else! Anyone would be lucky to see him live and in concert. He far exceeds videos you find online. One day, it would be great to meet him and tell him thank you for sharing your voice with all of us. The songs you write and share are powerful and anointed! Moonlight is and always has been a favorite song as well, even before I knew people put words to it.
Pinedale Christian Church Winston-Salem, NCThe music beautifully showcased his range and talent - no disappointment there. What was disappointing: 1) his stage time seemed much shorter than the stage time of the other artists and he was the headliner 2) He seemed very stiff and didn't really engage with the audience - since this was my first time seeing him live, maybe this is just the way he does it - but I was surprised and disappointed since half the fun of a concert is how the artist engages with their audience.
Ark Encounter Williamstown, KYThis was the most fabulous Christmas concert that I have ever been too!! The stage set up was beautiful, the song line up was spectacular and the concert was almost a solid 2 hours long. Of course, in my opinion, David’s voice is like no other. I could sit and listen to him sing all day!!! I both laughed and cried during this concert and I left with my heart full and spirits lifted. This concert was just what this girl needed!!! Thank you David and team!!!
The Mansion Theatre for the Performing Arts Branson, MOIt was a magnificent show. David was phenomenal ❤️🎶❤️🎶 he is the best of the best. There is none who can sing like him. The venue was beautiful and all the volunteers were very nice and they helped you if needed. You did an awesome job putting David’s show together…I hope you will have him back again. Thank you for your hard work putting this together. If anyone has not been to one of his concerts I highly recommend it, if he is in your area or within driving distance.
Gas City Performing Arts Center Gas City, INI absolutely love listening to DP and never imagined I would ever see him sing in person. We came from Nova Scotia, Canada to visit the Creation museum and Ark Encounter and looked to see if he would happen to be around. I couldn't believe he was only an hr drive from where we were. It was amazing. Emotional. Heart warming. Mickey Bell was also there and he did a phenomenal job. I will never forget this and will forever be one of my best memories!
