About David Phelps
David Phelps is credited among today’s most spectacular voices. His seemingly endless vocal range, which extends more than three octaves, coupled with his gift for communicating a song, has brought the house down in the world’s most prestigious venues. He has received numerous Dove Awards, Grammy Awards, and multiple platinum-selling recording projects.
David has topped the Billboard charts time and time again with releases like: the 2017 live DVD The Best Of David Phelps (#1 topping such popular video releases as The Beatles’ Eight Days A Week) and the 2018 live DVD It Must Be Christmas (#2), amongst others. The various recordings have been featured on numerous television networks, including the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) and have received acclaim in both secular and gospel music genres.
Phelps says of his work, “I am and always have been a stylist, and that makes my music and career very eclectic.”
While studying vocal performance at Baylor University, David met Lori, who has been his wife and a constant source of support throughout his career spanning three decades. Together, they have four children and reside on their farm outside Nashville, Tennessee.

David was awesome and just over the top!. His voice was clear, smooth, and seems to get better and better with age! I have been attending every concert he has had in my area for years. I loved his selection of songs many bringing back great memories of his earlier days. The new songs were so good and his band and background singers are totally the best. He looks great, love his new hair color and style and physical appearance. Can’t wait to see him again.

I totally enjoyed the concert in Wentzville Sunday night. David doesn't disappoint!!! Too many incredible moments with his voice and his back up singing, and the band wow!!!!!
Can't wait to go to another concert. I'm going to have to save up for the barn show in Tennessee. That would be great at Christmas time.

This was my first time seeing David Phelps and at South Church. It was a fantastic performance and an excellent venue. I was very impressed with the quality of David's voice and his interaction with the audience. I enjoyed his Christian and secular songs; his backup singers and musicians were fantastic! The venue was warm and accommodating, and I would return here for future events. I am starting to watch David's performances on YouTube and downloading some of my favorites. They are very inspiring!!

David Phelps is always wonderful to experience in person. Everything was perfection but even the best needs to rest and his current pace of events is showing cracks in his voice. His showstopper at the end is supposed to be the grand finale but it fell short unfortunately. We love him and only want him to take care of himself. I get he needs to pay the bills but at what cost down the road?

He is so gifted - but I was disappointed with many of his song choices. Too many secular choices with meaningless lyrics for a "Christian" concert. I think he could have made better choices and had a better witness for God, and used the time more wisely. His talent is amazing - showcase it for the One who blessed you with this incredible voice!! :)
