About David Phelps
David Phelps is credited among today’s most spectacular voices. His seemingly endless vocal range, which extends more than three octaves, coupled with his gift for communicating a song, has brought the house down in the world’s most prestigious venues. He has received numerous Dove Awards, Grammy Awards, and multiple platinum-selling recording projects. David has topped the Billboard charts time and time again with releases like: the 2017 live DVD The Best Of David Phelps (#1 topping such popular video releases as The Beatles’ Eight Days A Week) and the 2018 live DVD It Must Be Christmas (#2), amongst others. The various recordings have been featured on numerous television networks, including the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) and have received acclaim in both secular and gospel music genres. Phelps says of his work, “I am and always have been a stylist, and that makes my music and career very eclectic.” While studying vocal performance at Baylor University, David met Lori, who has been his wife and a constant source of support throughout his career spanning three decades. Together, they have four children and reside on their farm outside Nashville, Tennessee.

This is the 3rd Barn Bash we hav been to and it was phenomenal. David was his usual with his God given talent. He gives everything he has in his concerts and never disappoints. David has more than talented he is gifted. His daughters are an incredible addition to his concerts and they are extremely talented themselves. This is becoming a Christmas tradition for us. Such a wonderful Blessing.

My 21 year old granddaughter came with my and was very surprised when she found herself standing with her hands up praising God. For her 82 year old grandfather that made it a five l was a fan of David’s dating back to his performance at Columbus Ave Baptist church in Waco He sang in Baylor Men’s Choir and sang a solo part

A smaller venue, phenomenal acoustics and a very intimate atmosphere. David Phelps is absolutely incredible. His voice, vocal range, stage presence, and showmanship is beyond compare. His supporting cast, singers and musicians, were wonderful, and the show was absolutely beyond compare. It was well worth the three hour drive (each way), and we will do it again in the near future.

I was so looking forward to seeing and hearing David Phelps live for the first time. He met all of my expectations, he was funny and warm. Truly gifted and knows how to get the most out of it so that the next show will be just as good if not better. He is a master of his instrument. Praise God.

David’s performances are always phenomenal. I wish the show were a little less produced - a busy background on the screen isn’t always needed. Mickey was funny but should refrain from assuming that the audience is politically like-minded. His long testimony and call for donations before the intermission was a bit much. Phelps is worth the ticket.

It was my first time seeing David in person. I have my Pandora set on his music, so I was used to hearing his older music. I was hoping to hear more of the older music, but I love his voice no matter what he sings. Bridge Over Troubled Water was beautiful.

His show was fantastic! From beginning to end, I was never disappointed. He sang a lot of songs I’ve never heard before, and a lot of the favorites that I’ve heard for many years, I will be going to many more of his concerts! His band was fantastic and his background singers were amazing!

Really enjoyed David Phelps and his band. I have always admired his talent. I did not know when I purchased tickets that a comedian was included. It made for a long night (3 hours). But the music was GREAT! Can't wait to see him again.

Clearly the show was imagined to appeal to a GenZ audience , evidenced by the light show, sound levels, song choices. Older audiences not motivated by these techniques, but understand the necessity for artists to remain relevant with the passage of time, Show was great.! Good blend for all ages. ,
