From its formation in 2003, Ernie Haase has built Signature Sound into one of the most popular and beloved quartets in all of Southern Gospel music. The group has traveled all over the world, offering energy, excitement and encouragement through its powerful brand of gospel music. EHSS continues to gain fans all around the globe with its unique performances and unmistakable four-part harmonies. EHSS is one of the most celebrated quartets in Southern Gospel History mentioned with the same "trailblazing" reverence as groups likes The Statesmen Quartet and The Cathedral Quartet. EHSS has sung and sold to millions worldwide, a feat that has not been accomplished by any other Southern Gospel quartet. From concerts in Latvia and India to South Africa and New Zealand, events all around North America, TV appearances on ESPN with NASCAR, multiple NBA appearances singing our National Anthem, and even a specialty tour of historic American theaters in support of the EHSS Broadway project featuring Les Misérables legend J. Mark McVey, Signature Sound is a world-renowned quartet that spans a wide variety of genres and cultures. As group founder, Haase is a creative, hard-working tenor whose early roots with the unforgettable and legendary Southern Gospel quartet, The Cathedrals, helped begin his dream to form a powerhouse group of his own. Along with many appearances through the years on the widely regarded Gaither Homecoming Tour, his goal was soon accomplished and then some...as EHSS quickly gained an international platform in gospel music. Ernie Haase & Signature Sound is both GRAMMY(R)-nominated and GMA Dove Award-winning, a radio favorite in the United States and internationally, and a leader in CD sales and long form music video sales--with several RIAA(R)-certified Gold(R) and Platinum(R) DVDs.

The tuxedos. The lighting. The decorations. The live band. WOW! It was amazing for both sight and sound. They sang the best of the best Christmas songs. And at the end they sang a few of their greatest gospel songs. Oh What A Savior was so amazing. So great! It was my first time hearing their new bass singer. I didn’t expect such a deep voice from a young man. He was so good. I cannot wait to see them at 2025’s concert!
First Baptist Church Beebe Beebe, ARWe were unable to make it due to pending snow storm. We feel horrible because we love EHSS our total party would have been 5. We hope that they come up to this area again in the Spring thru Fall . We will travel to a show that is within a reasonable driving distance. My 5 star review is a review I am sure we would have given had we been there. Michelle and I have almost all of your recent and past CD's Love you guys!
South New Milford Baptist Church New Milford, PAThe first time I heard Ernie sing was about 35 years ago at a place in East Point Georgia. I can’t remember the exact name of the place but I know “Joy” was in the name. We went to see Squire Parsons that night. Ernie is so talented and we have enjoyed seeing him with the Cathedrals and now with his talented group Signature Sound. God has and continues to bless him! The show at Gainesville First Baptist was awesome!
First Baptist Church Gainesville, GAWe had a wonderful evening of worship. We appreciate very much those that put forth the effort to put the evening together and make it happen. Our only negative was that we could not understand the lyrics to the Carolina quartet songs as the music was too loud. EHSS was somehow able to tone that down and their songs were understood and enjoyed more. The Carolina quartet had beautiful harmony, but needs to adjust the sound… Thanks so much.
R-S Central High School Rutherfordton, NCThey were absolutely FABULOUS! My first concert, but definitely not my last!!! Growing up in the same town as The Happy Goodmans, my love for southern gospel and quartets runs deep. I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with the legend Ernie Haase himself and hope that is not the last time!!! The new bass singer, Christopher Taylor, is amazing and only 19 years old!!! I can’t say enough good things about this GREAT group!!!
