"With her gravel'n'smoke voice, ability to be both cheeky and heartbreaking, and a dirt-kicking live band, her rise and rise is inevitable" - MOJO Fiercely independent, the British singer songwriter has been steadily honing her craft for the better part of a decade. Her magnificent voice, instantly recognisable, full of grit - weaves stories of resilience and survival, of hope and new beginnings. In her music, we find liberation as she picks at the threads of human connection, carefully unravelling the truths we might not have realised about ourselves. Elles Bailey is particularly acclaimed in the Blues, Americana and Rock scenes where she’s won multiple awards. She’s built her reputation, sales and following through sustained initiative and hard work. As of Sept 2025 she has released 4 studio albums, all of which are award-winning or nominated and has sold over 50,000 records, built up over 57 million Spotify streams, and received support from Radio Two and Planet Rock. Her 4th studio album ‘Beneath The Neon Glow hit number #12 in the Official Album Charts, #1 in the UK Official Blues Charts, #2 in the UK Official Americana Charts, & #3 in the UK Official Independent Charts. After the release of her highest charting album to date last year Elles Bailey is back with brand new album Can’t Take My Story Away, which comes January 16th on Cooking Vinyl and Outlaw Music. Alongside the announcement Elles releases the record’s first cut with ‘Growing Roots’ and announces a run of 2026 UK and EU dates, including London’s Islington Assembly Hall on March 19th. Elles is a committed, live performer, playing up and down the length and breadth of the UK and Europe and into the USA. She has opened for the likes of Jools Holland, Van Morrison, Walter Trout and Rag’N’Bone Man as well a dueting with Rag’N’Bone Man on his hit ‘Anywhere away from here’. She has shared the stage with Joe Bonamasa, Beth Hart and Bonnie Raitt and has played slots at Glastonbury, Notodden, Beautiful Days and is headline touring her new album Can’t Take My Story Away all of 2026. Since 2022 she has been a weekly presenter on Planet Rock, the UK’s biggest National Rock Station and you can hear her show every Saturday at Midday. As expected at an Elles Bailey gig, the whole evening was wonderful. Elles has a great band, a powerful stage presence, fully engaging the audience into being part of the show, great songs and one of the best voices in Roots music. Both support acts Demi Marriner and the True Strays could be headlining in their own right. A great home town gig!
SWX Bristol, United Kingdomabsolutely fantastic, loved elles and caitlin krisko and the broadcast, got to meet caitlin at the merch stand during the interval and got to talk to her at the end of the show, elles and caitlin know how to put on a show and always put the fans first. such a fabulous night can't wait to see them all again ♥️♥️♥️.
The Glasshouse Gateshead, United KingdomElles and her incredible band were fabulous. A great set pulled largely from her award-winning album Shining in the Half-Light, which is loaded with wonderful songs. We love the venue, large enough to be atmospheric, and small enough to feel really intimate. Great support from Tamara Stewart (with Joe Wilkins). Can’t wait to Elles again.
