JOHNNYSWIM—Abner Ramirez and Amanda Sudano—translate the memories, moments, and milestones on their journey as a married couple into spirited, slick, and soulful anthems steeped in singer-songwriter tradition, yet amplified by alternative experimentation, rock energy, and pop ambition. Building a fanbase through constant touring, 2013’s Heart Beats EP spawned “Don’t Let It Get You Down,” which clocked 17 million-plus Spotify streams. Their first full-length, Diamonds, arrived in 2014 as its single “Home” famously became the theme to HGTV hit Fixer Upper. The 2016 follow-up Georgica Pond yielded another fan favorite “First Try” as the duo sold out dates around the world. This was my second time seeing Johnnyswim and they didn't disappoint. Matter of fact this concert was even better than when I saw them last February. The stage lighting truly added to the experience and made the songs even more captivating than they already are. I would see Johnnyswim again in a heart beat. Can't wait for their next tour!

Love them so much! I am a lifelong fan, for sure, and I SO wanted them to connect to the rest of the audience more than they did. A different set list order and/or slightly different arrangements would have done it. The set they played would have been better suited to a more intimate setting.

On their own, both Abner and Amanda are amazingly talented musicians, but it’s their interaction and relationship with each other that brings a relentless smile-inducing magic to their performances. Johnnyswim shows are so much fun that I’ve vowed to never miss it when they’re on tour and stop anywhere in my vicinity.
