Rend Collective is an eclectic collective of multi-instrumentalists from the North of Ireland. An inherent desire for something spiritually substantive in our increasingly artificial world is exactly what brought the movement of friends together. United by a common purpose, these twenty-somethings began exploring the intersection between God, life and community. “The Rend Collective Experiment came together as a few friends started to pray and seek God. We wanted an authentic outworking of our faith and felt that we would just step out into the unknown and see what happened,” Gareth shares. “Before we knew it, people just started gathering around us and we had more than 100 people involved, musicians and artists, bank workers and teachers, and together we tried to figure out our faith.” After many years in Ireland, the band felt the call to step out again into the unknown as the core 5 of the collective felt they were being called to reach more people. They have now grown into an international success with major tours with Chris Tomlin, MercyMe, Tenth Avenue North and Lecrae under their belts. Their heart is to bring not only a fresh approach to congregational worship, but also a heart and message through the spoken word. Their partnerships and tours with church leaders like Francis Chan, Louie Giglio and Shane Claiborne certainly shows this. Concerning the band itself Gareth comments,”We are a collective of people like a family and not just a band. We want our music to be what we call Organic worship, an honest and natural connection with God, something which is authentic and not artificial. We want to create an environment for people to have genuine encounters with Him and to find themselves singing to Him in ways that they find real”

It was my first time seeing Rend Collective. For both my friend and I, and we ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! They had so much energy on stage and bringing God's word, it was simply amazing. I've been trying to see them in concert for quite sometime now. So I was very happy to get the opportunity to do so. I will surely see them again! Venue was perfect too. Not too far and not a bad seat in the house. Thank you!!!
Trinity Christian College Palos Heights, ILRend has such great energy and share their great love for the Lord. I was a World Vision volunteer this time and we got to see the whole show!! Jonathan the fiddlist of the band was working with us and he was just so kind. But the show has a lot of energy, lighting, and they came back out and played more for us when we asked for an encore. Go check them out! They opened up with Eli Gable who was funny and had a great voice too.
Jefferson Center Roanoke, VAI was so surprised Rend Collective came to a small venue like Dayton, Pa but I was so glad! I have been wanting to see them in concert for years and they were in Pennsylvania and within a couple hours of me. :) I was so encouraged by the "down to earth" spirit they brought to the stage. The sound quality of the band was amazing and I loved seeing all the musicians pick up so many instruments. Such a great night of worship!

Thank you thank you thank you for coming to small town Minnesota. Such a blessing to fill up a a couple rows with my church family & other local friends and see so many familiar faces at these smaller venues. Love it so much more than the drive + bigger venues in the twin cities.
