Jim Messina Tour Dates & Upcoming Concerts

Jimmy Messina show at the Savannah in The Villages was fabulous. Very low key, could understand every word they sang. His band,m The Road Runners were equally as good. His one band mate played bout 8 different instruments. The sax was great. After the show Jimmy came out to a real question and answer forum. Very calm atmosphere and he answered all questions or comments. He needs to come back with Kenny Loggins and have a real jam session.

So one of the epic icons of the 1970s rock era comes to the intimate Soiled Dove Underground, fifty years after he and Kenny Loggins rocked out to sold out arenas. What did we expect? Exactly what he delivered. A great collection of incredible songs played with the best blend of studio talent, led by a genius songwriter and top of the world performers! Way to go, Soiled Dove, and way to go Jim Messina!

The music was wonderful. The band did a good job. The narrative from Jim Messina was uninspired. We sure wanted some stories from the road. It was entertaining, but more as a TV special for 2 or 3 songs. I just loved Loggind and Messina. Wanted a nostalgic insight. Go on happy ministerial. You are a old times warrior. The concert was excellent! I was amazed that he would come to our small town. I have been to many concerts, but never has the artist come out to talk to the audience after the conclusion of the concert. What a great experience! He still sounds great both his voice and his guitar playing! Thank you to Jim for an unforgettable evening!

Was fan of the groups he was in all strong members. As he was a producer engineer all songs are perfection. Maybe one song not familiar with the rest are stops on his career. Interesting he just did two nights at Hollywood Bowl and never mentioned. Oh well band and he are excellent.
