About John Lodge
John Lodge, legendary bass player, songwriter and vocalist of The Moody Blues, and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, will be back on tour in February and March 2024 in the USA! Following the critically acclaimed and sold out shows this year, John is continuing in his celebration of ‘The Moody Blues’ music, and the iconic album ‘Days of Future Passed’.
‘Performs Days of Future Passed’ encompasses a first set of electric Moodies classics featuring all the fan favourites such as ‘Isn’t Life Strange’, ‘Legend of a Mind’, ‘I’m Just a Singer (in a Rock and Roll Band)’, ‘Ride my See-Saw’, and so much more. The second set will see John and his band perform the iconic album ‘Days of Future Passed’ in its entirety, and in full symphonic sound. There are exciting changes from the original show, with new classic songs and deep cuts, enhanced video and dazzling lighting, all coming together to make a very special evening of great music and Moodies memories…. Come take a journey back in time with John and his 10,000 Light Years Band as they create audio alchemy for your listening and visual pleasure!
As Beneath a Desert Sky said, 'a must see show if you love classic progressive rock music or The Moody Blues music'
The show also features a special video and recording by Graeme Edge of his poems ‘Morning Glory’ and ‘Late Lament’. Jon Davison of YES also joins John on stage to perform the classic songs, “Nights in White Satin” and ‘Tuesday Afternoon’.
‘Days of Future Passed’ was released 56 years ago, and was arguably the start of progressive rock. These songs began the long standing cross-over between rock and classical music, and the Moody Blues shows were always known for recreating this incredible sound, and for the wonderful atmosphere.
John has surrounded himself with a band that are equally passionate, who put simply, love performing together, and who appreciate and respect the legacy of the music.
The electrifying show will also be in support of John’s album ‘Days of Future Passed – My Sojourn’, available now on CD and all streaming services, with a limited edition 180g Red Gold vinyl album available now.

Joining John on stage is his ‘10,000 Light Years Band’, long term collaborator Alan Hewitt (Music Director and Keyboards) and Billy Ashbaugh (Drums) from the Moody Blues touring band, together with Duffy King (Guitars) and Jason Charboneau (Cello). Jon Davison of YES will also be joining him for his special renditions of ‘Nights in White Satin’ and ‘Tuesday Afternoon’, plus the magical voice of Graeme Edge.

It was an incredible evening full of great music and memories.
John proved once again that what a gracious person he is. He is very down to earth, and this was a herculean effort for him to be out again on the road, and he made that for his fans!
I'm happy to see John working at his rehabilitation so we all could share his beautiful life's work.
The venue was new to me, and I feared the parking would be an issue and it was. I wound up parking near the light at the viaduct.
The distance from my house was only about 25 minutes.

This was the second time I saw John. The first was July 2024, and he didn't disappoint.
All the same band members.
One thing they had some issues with the sound system or electronics where it appeared two different things were being sung, and the cello lead guitars had some challenges with the system.
I had seen a post before mine and the same exact the post read exactly like what I saw.
I was in the first row and met some incredible people who are super fans. Had some real laughs.
I hope to see John maybe a summer tour on the making?

John was great! Great stories and he performed well. He is moving a little slower but he still has the chops. I didn't care for the guest vocalist /new vocalist for YES. I don't think he is right for singing Tuesday Afternoon and Knights in White Satin. He doesn't have the power or timbre for it. There must be many great singers out there that can handle those two songs and match the original vocal. I'll volunteer to do it! I'd love to give it a shot.

The "Rocker" always gives his fans what they want, and MORE! Duffy, Alan, Billy and Jason are the perfect pairing with John. Had we been allowed to be up on our feet dancing all night, we would have. Can't wait until we meet again! Shout out to the "Moody Family Fans" as well. It's always a pleasure to see fellow fans that have become family over the years as well as making new friends at each show!

What an absolutely WONDERFUL evening!!! I have been a Moody Blues follower for decades and was beyond delighted to have John perform with the Coachella Valley Symphony.
I found the youth volunteers to be filled with love & enthusiasm and I will help in my small way to promote this wonderful Symphony Orchestra and encourage my friends & family to support CV Symphony. CHEERS & BRAVO for this blessing of some of my favorite music, by a favorite musician!!!
Thank you
