Jackie Venson is a multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter known far and wide for her complexly beautiful music and blazing guitar skills. Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Jackie has traveled the world playing to massive crowds both as a headliner and as support for major acts such as Gary Clark Jr, Aloe Blacc, Citizen Cope to name a few. With the disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the cancellation of her entire tour schedule, Jackie committed herself to releasing more music than ever before and connecting with fans directly via a live stream she hosts every single day across various pages, including Facebook, Twitch and Reddit. On April 20th, Jackie will be releasing a new EP titled "jackie the robot vol 1" composed entirely of remixes that reimagine Jackie's critically acclaimed catalogue, and showcases her growth as both a musician and producer. With the uncertainty of the times we're living in, one thing holds true for Jackie Venson, she's going to play her music and spread as much joy as she can doing it.

Great show in Toronto, Jackie! Jackie and her band absolutely rock! With a unique blend of jazz/blues fusion together with rock and gospel, Jackie speaks her own powerful musical language. We first saw Jackie at Art Park opening up for Trombone Shorty in 2024. And basically she stole the show! Keep on rocking Jackie and come back to Canada as often as you can!
Horseshoe Tavern Toronto, ONTrouble in the Streets was high energy melodic jazzy rapping mixed with defibrillation beats. JV always brings the cool kids with her. JV also burned down the building on this particular night. More screaming than I’ve heard since the 70’s. My sister and I had a blast. I’m going back this week. Suggest you do too!

GO SEE THIS SHOW @Antones the 13th, or 20th, or @The Paramount on the 27th. You will witness beautiful soul revealing songwriting and monstrous guitar virtuosity!
