Independent rock n roll from the backstreets of Nashville, Tennessee. Laney Jones and the Spirits have big heart. It's undeniable watching Jones who usually performs on her gnarly 1960s Silvertone guitar, with her life and musical partner (Brian Dowd) holding the heartbeat on the drums. They're "everything that’s good about rock and roll” says GRAMMY-winning icon Lucinda Williams after catching the band at a hometown show. Now armed with a dynamic new eponymous record released late 2025 with members Carson Lystad (guitar) and Glen Hruska (bass), the band has been steadily gaining a cult following online and on the road.
