About Marc Broussard
Marc Broussard is an artist with a unique gift of channeling the spirits of classic R&B, rock and soul into contemporary terms. This gift has been a matter of common knowledge since 2002, when Broussard released his debut album, Momentary Setback, which he recorded and released independently at age 20. It was no secret before then, going back to those lucky witnesses who heard him belt "Johnny B. Goode" onstage at age 5 while sitting in with his father's band. Throughout his life, Broussard has been tapped as a talent to watch. Marc’s song “Home” was successful at radio and catapulted him onto the national touring stage. The timeless, soulful nature of Marc’s vocal lends well to Film and TV, and will continue to do so for years to come.

So good to have you in the Bay. Really loved your range of tunes you chose to play. I listen to you all the time. I can’t wait to see you come farther into the Bay Area with a show at the Freight and Salvage in Berkeley. Acoustics are wicked in this venue, you could let loose there. Beautiful historic venue with amazing club in the basement for post-show drinks. Marc never ceases to amaze - this was the 3rd of four times seeing him on this tour, and he bring the energy and passion every night. The opening act - Joe Hertler & the Rainbow Seekers - from Michigan - were also great support and warmed up the crowd. But in the end, Marc's stage presence and the songs themselves (he played all of Carencro which was amazing) just are electric

Amazing! Marc killed it, along with his talented Band! We're from Jennings, La, right next door to Carencro, where Marc is from, so we have a kinship to him, even though he doesn't know us! Ha! Ha!. We really enjoy his music! First saw him in Lafayette with our friends Kim & Erin Roy. It was just him, his guitar and his Dad.
