Massacre is one of the pioneers of OSDM and the godfathers of the Florida Death Metal Scene since 1985. Consisting of both Rick Rozz and Kam Lee both of whom began in MANTAS in 1983 and then DEATH in 1984/1985. Massacre early incarnation consisted of Micheal Borders (original bassist) who along with Rozz, Lee, and drummer Bill Andrews co-wrote and created the classic material from "From Beyond" the songs that everyone knows today as the bands classics. Borders also appears on the album "Tyrants of Death" a compilation album consisting of the bands classic demos and live recordings from the years 1985 to 1987. And though the band has had many incarnations and different members throughout the years, the foundation in the roots of the band's sound and signature style stems from the key combination of members Rozz, Lee, and Borders. With the addition of Mike Mazz on drums, who has been an essential addition to the Massacre roster since 2012. The Tyrants of Death have returned.i
