Mac Powell, originally from Alabama, moved to Atlanta, GA as a sophomore in high school where he would soon co-found the Christian rock band Third Day. Throughout their nearly three-decade career, the band sold over 10 million albums, earned four Grammy Awards, one American Music Award, 24 Dove Awards, and was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Since Third Day’s farewell tour in 2018, Mac released his debut solo Christian album “New Creation” on October 15th, 2021 which landed at NO. 1 on the Top Christian & Gospel album chart. River of Life, the debut single from “New Creation” became a Top 10 hit at Christian radio followed by the multi-week title track, New Creation, which spent 7 weeks at NO. 2 and 19 weeks inside the top 10. Mac’s second solo Christian album “I Love Jesus” releases on October 25th, 2024. Mac lives in Atlanta, GA with his wife Aimee and children.

The concert was fantastic! However, the lights in the second and third performances were awful. They were moving them across the audience back and forth. They were directed downward so they shined on the audience, people with migraine triggers and people whom have had cataracts can’t tolerate this light in their eyes. Unfortunately, we had to leave soon after Mac Powell began due to the lights.
First Baptist Church Decatur, TXIt was a wonderful worship experience! but I definitely was encouraged as I went home with a renewed sense of how God is working and that I should be content in my circumstances. His timing is perfect. Enjoyed every word spoken and sung. That you for the opportunity to give feedback. I have been to 3 other concerts in the area and was not able to at the others.

Very thankful I went to see all of them. I have seen Third Day so I knew Mac would be awesome! Was excited to see Ion and Cochran. I love going to see new artists..ones I have not seen before. 💚💚💚💚💚
First Assembly of God Montgomery, ALI've new to christian music and events... I've been to MANY concerts and festivals... mac Powell has easily and quickly become my favorite artist and I've recently seen him at hits deep tour. Mac is awesome! Great stage presence plus he took requests. I've never seen requests taken and then he played my request :) that was the sweet cherry on top. Thanks mac!
First Baptist Church Anacoco, LAAbsolutely loved the format of this concert. The venue was the right size for the style. I’ll definitely attend more of this type of concert! The concert format allowed the artists to express themselves in a vulnerable and intimate way in worship. Worship was so prevalent in the room which made the experience so meaningful. Please have more of this type of concert.
