Micah Dalton Tour Dates and Upcoming Concerts

Embracing an eclectic combination of folk, blues, soul, and R&B, Micah Dalton’s music has a unique, one-of-a-kind quality like that of a handcrafted good. “When you combine an earthy, easygoing songwriting style, the influence of Donny Hathaway and Paul Simon and a penchant for warm understated instrumentation, there’s a good chance you’ll get ear-pleasing results. Micah Dalton’s latest release, a live album entitled Live At Eddie’s Attic, brilliantly displays his excitement for music and his skillfulness as a performer. Though he has recently relocated to New York City, Micah’s performances are an unmistakable testament to his southern roots. And as an Atlanta native, it was only appropriate that Micah’s first live album be recorded over two nights at two sold-out shows at Eddie’s Attic, the famous music venue in Georgia that has proven to be the springboard for artists such as John Mayer, Sugarland, Shawn Mullins, and The Civil Wars. Referencing the album, Dalton stated, “This is the thing that I am most proud of thus far in my career.” Beyond his latest live release, Micah has also received recognition for his previous studio album entitled Blue Frontier, which was released in March 2012. Blue Frontier is a collection of twelve songs that sonically run the gamut from 60’s and 70’s soul and R&B. The album resulted in him being featured on Amazon MP3’s “Artists on the Rise". “He may sound like an earthier, cleverer Ben Harper, but musically Dalton suggests mid-'80s Prince in the way he defiantly straddles so many styles, requiring an enormous musical arsenal to get his point across.
