Sic Tour Dates and Upcoming Concerts

There are several bands called Sic There is also an electronic artist called [sic]. One of them is a Brazilian power trio of indie rock consisting of Tatiana playing the guitar and vocals, Jérôme strumming the bass and Igor holding the sticks. Sic was also a belgian synthpop band that released a few singles in the early 80's. Another is the alias of Steve Evans-Van der Harten. Thirdly, a dutch band, who play some catchy punkish rock. SiC (also joked about as: As i See) later renamed to The Upside and then broke up. You can still contact them at www.theupside.nl. The fourth is a three-piece punk rock band, see description below: Visiting Dublin for a mad weekend in 1996, Ricky Warwick bumped into Ciaran McGoldrick and Gary Sullivan at a local gig. Ciaran (whose musical tastes revolve around under-ground US guitarists such as The Jesus Lizard, Hüsker Dü, Killdozer and Unsane) was earning a living as a guitar technician. Gary (whose roots lay in the musics of punk artists such as The Clash, Sex Pistols and The Ruts) had drummed in numerous Irish bands and was looking for a band with a musical style more appropriate to his tastes. (sic) was only released in Japan and a four track EP came out in the UK. SIC is also a thrash metal band from Faroe Islands. SIC was formed in 2002 by guitar player Eddie Jacobsen. In 2003 singer Mikkjal G. Hansen joined the band and things were on a role. In February 2005 Eddie and Mikkjal joined forces with Magnus, Frans and Gudmar and SIC really began to take shape. SIC remained focused on what their music should sound like and were constantly writing and rearranging songs in anticipation for their debut album Pandemonium. SIC hooked up Producer Tommy Hansen from Jailhouse Studios, Denmark, and in September 2006 SIC began recording Pandemonium. It took 15 days. The album was released February 26th 2007 and was embraced by the people as well as the media. All over the world SIC received breathtaking reviews - the thrash band from tiny Faroe Islands had gained recognition throughout the world! Webzines from countries such as Peru, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Greece, UK, US etc were all giving Pandemonium top marks.
