Tate Butts is a 15-year-old singer and songwriter from South Carolina. Butts brings a heartfelt and youthful perspective to his music, pairing catchy melodies with a grounded sense of authenticity. His faith plays a central role in his artistry, fueling both his message and his drive to connect with listeners in a meaningful way. His debut single, “My Defender,” became a breakout moment, surpassing 1 million cross-platform streams in its first week and igniting rapid growth across social media, where his audience has now climbed past 1 million followers. The response reflects more than viral momentum; it's proof that a generation is connecting with the honesty and hope in his message. That impact has reached beyond music as well. Less than a year into his rapid rise, he will release his seven-track debut EP, Something To Believe In, on Friday, July 10. With a rapidly growing social media presence and a natural gift for performing, Butts is carving out his own lane as one of the most exciting young voices in pop.
