About Toad the Wet Sprocket
Celebrating 30+ years as a band, Toad the Wet Sprocket is still making music and touring with the same spirit of unwavering independence that started it all over three decades ago. The band is thankful for the continued help and enthusiastic support of their fans, which helped spur the release of All You Want and also serves as inspiration for the band to tour and play live. They also continue to support their most recent releases, New Constellation (2013) and The Architect of Ruin EP (2015). Toad the Wet Sprocket share in the kind of musical chemistry that can only come from meeting in high school and writing, recording and touring on albums over the course time. After Bread & Circus, they followed with Pale in 1990, fear in ’91, Dulcinea in 1994, and Coil in 1997, as well as some compilations along the way. While most will still feel the comforting familiarity of the Billboard-charting hits, “Walk on the Ocean”, “All I Want”, “Something’s Always Wrong”, and “Fall Down”, fans will also be well familiar with tracks with lyrics that resonate for so many life milestones like “The Moment”, “I Will Not Take These Things for Granted” and so many more.

Out of the nearly 100+ Toad shows I have seen in the past 30 years, this was truly one of the most memorable and thoroughly enjoyable shows with an incredible set list. Songs spanned their entire career and highlighted some of their best known songs. Crowd had amazing energy, and everyone was friendly and interactive. The VIP experience was lovely and the Royal Oak MT is always a great place to see a show.

Both Bands were absolutely fantastic. Sound was great, and the venue was perfect. Great crowd. You could leave your seat and be back to your seat within 2 min with drink/souvenir in hand. Best Toad the Wet Sprocket concert I have ever been to. I can't stress enough how good both bands were. Shout out to The Verve Pipe.

TTWS were amazing as always! I will never get tired of seeing them. I hope they will come back to western Washington soon! One of their concerts is like a soul refresher! I highly recommend, they never disappoint! Love Dean, Glenn & Todd! I am a Toadie for life! (Shout out out to Dante, you are awesome!) PS: their entire crew are incredible humans!

The show was fantastic! The band sounded great, the dynamic on the stage was awesome. Could tell you guys really were happy to be playing live and so glad that San Diego was your first stop. The hiccups from being the first show (cords in the way, mic not turning off) only added to the enjoyment for us really. Loved it guys!

This was the first opportunity I've had to see Toad the Wet Sprocket live, and they certainly didn't disappoint. They are an extremely talented group of musicians. They performed all of their hits to perfection. "Good Intentions" and "Something's Always Wrong" were standouts. "Windmills" and "Nanci" were also great. This band is a joy to listen to. Excellent!

As always, Toad was brilliant and sounded great. Definitely enjoyed the Indigo Girls cover of "Closer I Am to Fine," and the set list was a nice blend of new and old. Marcy Playground was forgettable, much like their only hit, and the venue itself wasn't terribly comfortable or conducive to great acoustics. Nonetheless, the audience has good energy and was largely friendly.

Everything sounded perfect. The VIP Meet and Greet was great. Can’t wait to see the photos. The music was spot on! I loved the acoustic set of songs and the false encore. Jon and Carl filled in perfectly. And, of course Glen, Todd and Dean were great! And, this was at my favorite venue in the area! Definitely, a must-see!

Great double bill. Toad was great, as expected, although I would have liked to hear a few more songs from last year’s Starting Now. The Verve Pipe was fantastic: while I was expecting “solemn,” they played extremely faithful yet energetic, even joyous, renditions of their best songs, including Villains, Photograph and, of course, The Freshmen.

What a great night! Glen was in fine voice (as was Todd and Dean) and the boys were playing really tight! What an awesome set with a Sean Watkins cover done acoustic by Glen with Jon on mandolin. Too many other highlights to list! Definitely want to see them again soon!

Another incredible TTWS show. The setlist was full of hits and a few little surprises. The crowded house cover with Dean on lead vocals was a treat during the acoustic breakdown section of the show. And we got to talk with all of the band members after the show, which was a treat.
