War Hippies is a lifestyle brand and country music act. Their authentic songwriting and electrifying live performances quickly garnered widespread critical acclaim. On October 14 of that year War Hippies unleashed a self-titled debut album during The Can't Miss Tour, where they provided support for Chris Janson and Travis Tritt. The album made an immediate impact, debuting at No. 8 on the iTunes Country Chart and reaching No. 30 across all genres in its first week. To date, the collection has amassed over 38 million streams and views across platforms. Their track "Make It Out Alive" from the album earned a coveted spot on American Songwriter's prestigious Top 24 Songs of 2022 list. Another album cut, "The Hangman," gained significant traction and its official music video received a Telly Award for Craft Video & Cinematography. After suffering symptoms of PTSD and TBI for 20 years, founding owner, Donnie Reis, hit his rock bottom and finally decided to get help. He spent a large portion of 2024 at Warriors Heart and the SHARE Military Initiative at Shepherd Center receiving treatment, finally realizing a renewed and healed life he'd spent years dreaming of and praying for. He is now on a mission to help other warriors find their own peace and healing.
