About The Word Alive
Since emerging in 2009, their first decade comprised Deceiver [2010], Life Cycles [2012], Real. [2014], and Dark Matter [2016], reaching a high watermark on Violent Noise in 2018. Bringing their total streams past 100 million, the latter included “Why Am I Like This?” [9.7 million Spotify streams] and “Red Clouds” [4.7 million Spotify streams] in addition to garnering acclaim from the likes of New Noise who asserted, “Their excellent and engaging Violent Noise has all the hallmarks of a band at the peak of its powers.” After a triumphant decade anniversary tour, the group once again set their sights on the future cast in fire on the 2019 single “Burning Your World Down.” Produced by Erik Ron [Panic! At The Disco, Godsmack], it teeters between synth swells, gut-punching riffs, and a hypnotic hook, igniting a new era for the band and setting the stage for their sixth full-length—out now.

These guys are the real deal! Such great performers, so genuine and down to earth, they clearly love what they are doing and care about connecting with their fans. They even brought my 7 & 9 year old kids up on stage for a couple songs! And they took the time to time meet us and take a picture after the show. They have a couple lifetime fans right here! See you guys again in April!

They mainly played a lot of new stuff. Which isn’t the best but not the worst either. I’m more of the old school the word alive from warped tour days. Those days were the best. I’ve seen them live 3 times and they always put on a great show. Only if they would mix it up and play new and old songs. Then it would have been a better show.

I love seeing all the opening acts because you find 'diamonds in the rough' like The Word Alive. They put on a headliner performance and laid the path for Pop Evil. The lead singer, Tyler Smith reminds me of Noah Sebastian from Bad Omens. The range they have and the stage presence is incredible. I look forward to more shows and more music in the future.

The show was incredible! Can’t believe those guys had already played 17 shows in a row with only one day off! They went hard! 🔥 the energy and atmosphere were amazing, absolutely recommend seeing them live! On top of that was the VIP experience. They’re all absolute sweethearts, talking to them and taking pictures was awesome 🖤

VIP was amazing. The show was phenomenal. If you are on the fence get off it and go. Solid set list . If you are a fan and are contended about the change in members don’t be. They have this dialed in . Go see them, say hi and enjoy life music.

There aren’t a lot of bands I will do a very fast turn around to see , The Word Alive is at the top of that list. VIP was a blast , got to hear Dreamer for sound check . If you could make this tour and you didn’t , you missed out.

They played a lot of new songs which I unfortunately didn't know yet, but they put on a raging show. I loved the tribute they made to Kyle from WCAR. The crowd was really obnoxious this time seeing them, but I guess that's part of the package.

The Word Alive were easily the best band of the 3 (Hawthorne Heights and Anberlin), with a good mix resulting in pretty clear vocals and music. The whole band were very tight and energetic…worth the cost of admission just to see them.
