Warrant is a rock band that originated from Hollywood, California, in the United States. The band was formed in 1984 by bassist Jerry Dixon and guitarist Erik Turner. They recruited vocalist Adam Shore, drummer Max Asher, and guitarist Josh Lewis to complete the original lineup. However, the band went through a series of lineup changes before settling on the classic lineup, which consisted of lead vocalist Jani Lane, guitarist Joey Allen, drummer Steven Sweet, bassist Jerry Dixon, and guitarist Erik Turner. Warrant's debut album, "Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich," was released in 1989 and was a massive success, reaching number ten on the Billboard 200 chart.
